The take from last night's game.

The take from last night's game. No combat but a lot of exploratory ground covered. The Domovoy village hex is considered clear for settlers (though if it will remain so is up in the air), a section of the Anti-Cantons found, the snake-riding moonmen contacted, and the Grotman enthralled in the Manzascheme.  Swag Acquired: 2 precious-stone inlaid, silver cast doors (worth 2000 suns each) Exp per player: 750

Chris Kutalik Manzy will be visiting the Grotmen village with a contingent of soldiers (and, if they are willing, any party members that will come along), offering refined goods for trade. He will use his illusions to create VR commercials, advertising the wealth to be gained by Manzabucks. What do the Grotmen have to offer, other than Norkers? Manzy would be willing to offer a substantial reward for rights to move boats by their village unmolested.

Happy birthday fellow Nefarious Nine member, Reynaldo Madriñan! Many happy returns!

It's been a while since the “formal” ask, but time to check in on the “how's it going” type feedback (which has been pretty valuable in sustaining the campaign over time). So how y'all feeling about the campaign?  Anything particular you want to see more of? Less of? Stay the course?  Suggestions? Wish lists?  Various half-crazed side campaign ideas keep popping into my head, but I am mostly staying the course for now.

So first product of my fakey-cakes ES "in-game book" obsession is now up on the Hill Cantons page.

OK, so right now here are the power groups that we know of in the area:

OK, so right now here are the power groups that we know of in the area: KNOWN *Norkers *Tiger Cultists *Moon Savages *Grot-Men *Domovi (kinda?) *Fire-Dwarves POTENTIAL *Autarch Forces *Serpent Riders Have I missed any? Right now we're taking on the Tiger Cultists as our top priority. After we deal with them (or even before), I'm inclined to take out the Grot-Men. If we can take out their hive, we can get access to the river (and thus relatively simple travel throughout these hexes, with minimized chances of encountering things).  (To that end, we should get some boats that we can keep at the dam.)

Running out of time so here's the quick take from this Tuesday. Lots of blood!

Recapping the magic swords we have:

Recapping the magic swords we have:  "The Four Brother-Blades of the Evening Red  1. Longsword +0. 2. Int 5, Ego 15, tremendous malign potency turns wielder towards debased, violent, wanton evil. 3. If all 4 used in one party: +2 to hit and damage. 4. If all 4 used in one party: On a natural 20, the blade lands a near scalping blow to a humanoid causing an additional d6 bleeding damage. 4. Striking the 4 blades together while chanting “hrom, hrom, hrom” (Muhtl for “thunder”) will produce Call Lightning 1/day at the level of strongest wielder." Who do we have as suitable wielders for these? Personality wise: -Manzy -Taurus -Catman -Lazzaro -Tazrun -Karl -TERMEX But I completely forget the way that we calculate personality scores, so I'm not sure who there is actually suitable.

We've set up our hex patrol scheme, but I figure that we should also set up some rules of engagement for our folks.

We've set up our hex patrol scheme, but I figure that we should also set up some rules of engagement for our folks.  Unfortunately we didn't wipe out the Rousseauean Hunters we encountered (so close!) so it's a safe bet that we may get some visitors. They're attached to their mounts, so they'll probably be riding them through the swamp. I think the RoE should be that our guys try to avoid engaging them if possible; if it's not, set polearms and defend against the charge.

Hey Chris Kutalik I'm starting to get the hankering for some original spell research for BC .

Hey Chris Kutalik I'm starting to get the hankering for some original spell research for BC . Given my luck with the dice, I'm thinking some sort of reroll or Advantage* power.  What level would you treat a spell reading something like "make the next 1d4 attacks with advantage / reroll"? Or alternatively, something simpler like "reroll your next missed attack"?  *roll 2 take higher
