Recently Identified Objects

Recently Identified Objects Cube of Freezing. Can create a 10-foot cube of ice in a turn three times a day. To operate however it must have an equivalent mass of water within 100 feet to condensate. God Dust. Known effect: half-dollar size amount snorted or otherwise consumed will produce a +3 to all saving throws for six turns. Longterm use effect unknown. You have eight “doses” worth.  Research Assistants House Rule Leveled Magic-User NPC or PC assistants reduce the total amount of time for research and item creation by a day times half the assistant's level (maximum of two assistants and a minimum period of one day). So a 2nd level magic user will reduce the time to make a scroll by a day.  cc the party MUs Anthony Picaro Humza Kazmi James Maliszewski

This may be interesting and/or useful to y'all, a master list of all the campaign sites explored (or at least known about) by the home group and G+ players. Spun off from the master list I put together this morning trying to tame the chaos of my notes.

Just so y'all know, I am about 90 percent not likely to run our usual Tuesday night game next week. I have the afternoon game and probably need to do some work catching up on stocking maps in the Feral Shore and other places. So week after that then.

Vilem the Archdruid of Svat the Four-Faced Recounts the Really Weird Dream He Had Last Night And Makes an Offer : So I was sittin' on the roof of the Town Gods Tomb strumming my balalaika and talking about old times with my good friends Jarek the Nagsmen and Gurgi's Dad. The women, the pipe weed, the bukavacs. I slipped back to rest my eyes and I had me a vision. You were there and scarecrow and I was flying...in my underwear. I flew over two sloping hills with old-timey wooden, Domovoy-warded village like we us in the glory days, and there was a great, big, soaring temple all a painted and dedicated to the old gods. That place had some glory to the ones left with some power but it was also a place for the dying and retired to hang their weary divine heads and enjoy a little worship in their hospice. So what you boys think? Should we build us one? I reckon I can put up eight grand. Maybe we can go dutch (even more would make it real purty)? Say, do you fellers have any prisoner

Yay, I (mostly) finished the Golden Barge write up.

Yay, I (mostly) finished the Golden Barge write up. Still need to finish the last four monsters and of course the sloptastic map (complete with wine stain) needs a total overhaul. And of course tons and tons of editing.

FYI in a fit of productivity I wrote up most of the original Barge adventure today into something more coherent than the bullet points and sketchy key of my notes. When I finish it, hopefully by tomorrow, I will hand a redacted copy (there are a few mysteries still hidden in there) and map over to y'all since you won it fair and square. One thing I will need from y'all in the near nigh future (besides critical feedback) is a sense of what you are doing with it now that you have it. You know things like where it will be and any security plans you may have for it etc. Purely a formality, naturally.

Some things that Frantisek would have told you about the Rubicand Caverns of Oldest Lhoma (that I would have told you last night, naturally): 1. Unlike other "points" in the Kezmaroki undercity it is a larger, sprawling and deeper place defined by the more natural architecture of a cavern system. 2. He believes it stretches out as much or more vertically as it does horizontally. 3. The Hypogeum should be fronted by a white-metal door with a pink granite facade and exist as a free-standing structure or sub-level in one of the caverns. He believes it lies somewhere in the "middle layers" of the caverns.  4. Something immense and horrific exists at its bottom caverns.

Hey all, so when it rains it pours.

Hey all, so when it rains it pours. We got home and Isaac was vomiting and running a fever. So no game tonight sadly, catch y'all next week, sorry.

There is something jacked up going on with the feed from the Hill Cantons page so weekly news reposted here. For a city made so jaded by centuries of siege, strange, supernatural shocks continue to rule the news from Kezmarok. For two long minutes it seemed that Lower Kezmarok was delivered from its oblivion. Mid-morning the barely visible  byline of that half of the city flashed back into corporeal existence along with its terrified citizenry—a score of whom managed to run to the higher environs of the rock before the city ward just as abruptly jerked back into its slow fade. An excited crowd of stevedores who rescued the survivors tell of wild stories of the ward floating in a bubble inside a solid metal tower as the sounds of a great battle issued outside. The survivors have been rushed to the palace of King Ulyosalik for their own safety and comfort.  Goatherds across the Hill Cantons have been reporting a staggeringly large number of nightime mutilations of their flocks. Death/Dismemberment Table clarification after last night:

Death/Dismemberment Table clarification after last night: Cure Critical Wounds, Heal, or Regeneration will lift any of the downtime penalties for Death and Dismemberment table results. Otherwise the PC is out for those number of weeks (and likely sessions). Regeneration or Wish are necessary to restore a severed/mangled, destroyed limb or organ. (And cost almost an arm and a leg.)
Happy birthday to fellow Niner, Evan Elkins!
