Nefarious Nine Export

Members of the Nine, Lazzaro proposes an experiment: He will attempt to transform this new Ugh-Chim into an "elf" (whatever that is) and then we, as a party, will observe the behaviors that the new form then exhibits. The theory goes that, since the Chim-complex is one of only a very small number of elven forms that Lazzaro has ever known (and in fact makes up the vast majority of the sample size in terms of overall exposure), and since it is originally of elven derivation in the first place, the psychological modifiers resident within the magic will serve to normalize rather than reshape. In addition to any changes or lack thereof in disposition, we will also be able to observe the effect on physical abilities, memory, & general experience. The benefits of this knowledge would be numerous, and not only in furthering the study of magic at the Fortunate Dam, which is admittedly a major goal. What say we?

Chris Kutalik i think i missed a "the take" report for the session that (may have been) Feb. 18? it was the session where Taurus roped across a chasm in the black cube complex and opened some sarcophagi, stuffing the skeletons in bags and throwing them over, and there was a 'knock you into the chasm" trap. i think it was the session following the "maggot" session of the 11th that i did not attend. any records/ideas?

So I'm not 100% sure where we stand re: immediate goals for the NN.  A few of the things discussed last session: * Continuing to match-make for the Monarch Formerly Known As Decade-king (continue with finding someone dumb/pliable, or go for one of the suggested potentials?) * Bukavac Hunting * Summer Country operations with the MFKAD-K * Shank Lady Szara Other things to do: Defend and upgun barge - right now we're defending through obscurity, which is not great.  (We also only have a few flame shots for one of the turrets, IIRC. It is probably worthwhile to see what else we can get mounted on those turrets.)

Recently Identified Objects Cube of Freezing. Can create a 10-foot cube of ice in a turn three times a day. To operate however it must have an equivalent mass of water within 100 feet to condensate. God Dust. Known effect: half-dollar size amount snorted or otherwise consumed will produce a +3 to all saving throws for six turns. Longterm use effect unknown. You have eight “doses” worth.  Research Assistants House Rule Leveled Magic-User NPC or PC assistants reduce the total amount of time for research and item creation by a day times half the assistant's level (maximum of two assistants and a minimum period of one day). Just so y'all know, I am about 90 percent not likely to run our usual Tuesday night game next week. I have the afternoon game and probably need to do some work catching up on stocking maps in the Feral Shore and other places. So week after that then.
