Pre-session News Item: Wormy Goblins seem to be friendlier/responsive -- easier to hire along.
Pre-session News Item: Himyari letter in gold-foil-leaf delivered by Yolonians (w/ translation), inviting us down to the Scarlet Sultanate from Uld Namahari

Note: Marika had stated that she was attempting to improve the uncut emeralds prior to this session, so the 900 per person is likely to go up. She's doing y'all a solid from beyond the graaaaaaave (waves hands in spooky fashion).

Marika leaves behind 1407 gp (which I suggest become used for the group fund), her stake in the Snake and Dagger (which Marek has 100% already retaken), and a riding horse. All other equipment lost to bark humanoids.

I just realized I completely forgot to apply the extra starting XP for my character. THAT's why he had such shitty HP.
