In lieu of running off to join a Kurdish cantonal militia today, here's a list of real estate opportunities in the greater Revoca town area. Remember you get half exp for such expenditures.
The “Lower Works” of the Strnad Tower-House. The Strnads are an ancient, but not particularly well-regarded clan mostly noted for having a chokehold on the local craft production of charmingly antique peasant blouses noted for its smerz-beadwork of tiny fossilized beetles. That there is little demand for such labor-intensive and frankly schlocky clothing over the past century hasn't done the clan favors (and marriageability for its younger folk) and the dwindling family can barely fill out a third of the room of its tower-house. As such it seeks to sell off the bottom “lower works” of the tower-house: the crumbling 15' x 30' great hall, former servants quarters (a 20x20 barracks like room), old kitchen, storeroom and outhouses for 800 gold suns
The old Proshaska Barn. The well-to-do Proshakas built a massive, well-timbered (20' x 40') barn four years ago on the edge of town for their prized goats and donkeys. Within months the clan had abandoned the barn and a flurry of passive-aggressive feuding followed in its wake with all kinds of bizarre and cryptic turns. The clan has a standing offer to sell it for 200 gold suns.
Xamuran herder cottages. It is said that the local Xam hold to an belief that Pahr house-spirits, Domovoi, “become stale” after seven years. As such the Xam are constantly abandoning cottages in the areas surrounding town. Buying lifetime lease rights from the landowner and some repair work on the thatching and walls will run you 70 gold suns.

ReplyDeleteSo bad upstairs neighbor, ghost goats, or angry house spirits?
ReplyDeleteUltimate Pavol purchases the Lower Works and the Barn.
ReplyDeleteHe will also be looking for a mural painter and masons/woodworkers/etc to restore the structures (I can put down up to 1k gp in repairs at this moment).
so thats what we do with the gold suns
ReplyDeleteWell Tizzard needs all the XP he can get, so buying up all available huts. Have 1,400 GP or so.
ReplyDeleteHuts will have their doors removed and then be set aflame as it's pretty clear that they cause widespread misery.

ReplyDeleteHera would be the right age group and gender to get invited into participating in the "outer room circle", the entry level social activities and lay rites.
ReplyDeleteThey do indeed have an actual underground lodge.
ReplyDeleteGus L you can buy up 8 such cottages.
ReplyDeleteHera will do so, and study her map waiting for the next market day
ReplyDeleteRadomir is tea-partying with princess Zuzu. He looks ridiculous with his party hat.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to commission someone to draw Tizzard and Radomir at one of her tea party. It just hits me somewhere deep.
ReplyDeleteTizzard will join the team party as he likes the hats.
