The conclusion to last night's discussion about the Hill Cantons campaign direction:
1. that for the next couple months we try a new lower-,level campaign situated in Marlinko around the Mountain Hall and some new stuff in the eastern side of the canton. Starting exp 2800 with either the standard mini-game generator or 4d6 in order drop the lowest. (I will probably less of a tightwad with treasure and thus advancement may be quicker).
2. that we are going to try and recruit 2-3 new hopefully longterm players with an eye to integrate them into the Nefarious Nine as they level up. Possible new players include Gus L, Corey W, Handy H, Dennis and Zack W. (Any others?)
3. that we will continue play the Nefarious Nine/Feral Shore stuff at least once a month. If things just aren't working for the B Team or that the FS is just calling with more insistence, then we will play that more). (It's important for the veterans to be vocal and upfront about you are feeling about it all as that's one of the most important things to me.)
Not talked about but I was thinking to answer +Robert Robert Parker ion that any PC you play in this phase could be automatically recruitable as a henchperson for your Nefarious Nine character or as someone who can sit on the FS ring (and be an NPC actor in domain stuff.) So as to give both continuity and a feeling that these characters don't just disappear.

Just to be clear the idea is to sooner rather than later fold up this new campaign phase into the "main track" of the NN campaign.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds good to me. I have always enjoyed coming up with new characters while continuing to play my old ones. That's part of the reason I always enjoyed dm'ing :)
