What Ba Chim's spy tells you about Il Tasi'in Il Tasi'in, a thick-walled town of 3000, is the seat of power for one of the the most isolated of the borderland satrapies of the Scarlet Sultanate. Located on the east coast just after the shoreline turns south, it is a bare 60 miles from the Xobi, the cold rocky southern desert in the Weird. The town which is dominated by the two raised quartz-dome hills called the Teats of Manat was formerly called Manawat and was deeply associated with the worship of that chthonic goddess (who is said to have ruled over fate itself and “sapped the self-will and value of Men”). The ruling satrap is like other borderlands satraps both a highly-positioned courtier and necromancer, an important role in the maintenance of the undead-worked plantation system (more about Industrial Necromancy in a blog post). Ul-Namihirra is generally considered to be a deeply incompetent in both his expected roles but survives politically by his ability to shift...
Alas poor Snake, entered the Frog Demon Temple and fell to his death down the stairs. (and we promptly beat feet out of there).
ReplyDeleteKochka!
ReplyDelete(What happened to Kracki the Hooded One and Kruluzax? Also Volga the Vain is still pseudo-alive IIRC, just hanging out with Keth.)
let us not forget Durdic
ReplyDeleteand the still-active Mulgar and Ool (4th level!)
ReplyDeletewhat happened to those 4 vikings we hired? Dardic, Murgar, Turmox, and Dindoc?
ReplyDeleteand then there's Wardude, who is probably still alive but maybe worse off for it
ReplyDeletecole long thanks I will add them. It's a bitch going through the old hiring posts on here.
ReplyDeleteHumza Kazmi Kruluz fairly sure he got killed, maybe in the flesh blob explosion? That killed a number of hirelings,
ReplyDelete"Boy" is the same person as Girly, right?
ReplyDeleteactually i guess not, from the description. so Girly is another one to add
ReplyDeleteand then there's hudric, the toothless old guy that taurus fitted with grills before he god phaserized
i guess i was saying it wrong Hurdic, shifty-eyed man-at-arms lacking most of his teeth. Hp: 4, Ringmail, spear, shield.
ReplyDelete(i'd always thought it was Hudric, "Hoo-Drick")
ReplyDeleteWasn't Hurdic the guy who had the wooden family locket? It's like a war movie you forget all the dead extras.
ReplyDeleteno, that's Durdic. what he had was lovingly/creepily carved wooden figurines of his family members
ReplyDeleteHudric was a toothless old man who was taurus' man-at-arms for a while, taurus bought him fancy grills because he/i thought that would be funny. then under bad rajetz he caught an errant phaser bolt from philip
ReplyDeleteYes Durdic, we determined that he had in fact killed them.
ReplyDeleteKruluzax is still alive and in the service of Lady Isris. He is currently slogging about the shadowed streets of Sigil with her. Also with her is Brown Tomas, former indentured servant now 1st level fighter who carries about an (oft useless) arquebus.
ReplyDelete[also, Girly's real name is Garmir]
